Sun UV rays can harm your hair, causing dry scalp and making hair brittle. Minimize the UV ray exposure (especially from 10 am to 2 pm). If possible, try to stay in the shade. If you are outdoors, use a sun umbrella, hat, kerchief or other SPF accessories.
When choosing shampoos, hair conditioners and other hair care products, ensure that the products have SPF features. Some spray sunscreen products are also good choices. In some cases, you can also use normal sunscreen lotions (along the hairline) to protect the scalp and hair.
When you swim at sea, be sure to wear a swimming cap - do not forget to use fresh water to rinse the hair, because sea water easily makes the hair dry.
